How much is it?
Pricing is as follows:
  • Regulary $80 Round-trip, $45 One-Way
  • The week of a trip, prices increase, so be sure to order early.
  • Compare these prices to Amtrak! They range from $82 - 120+ One way... a far more expensive option.
How do I use a College Coach Bus credit?
If you have been given a credit for College Coach Bus and want to use it for an upcoming trip, go ahead and order as you normally would. After ordering, send us an email (ContactUs@CollegeCoachBus.com) with the information concerning your credit (what trip it was from, round trip or one way). The reason that we ask you to order is because it ensures that we receive all of your trip information, including time, date, pick-up/drop-off locations, etc. As soon as we receive all of your information, we will refund you via PayPal in the amount of your credit. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions regarding this process!
What is the deal with this ‘student-themed’ experience?
We are a service run by students at the University of Delaware, for students at the University of Delaware. It is that simple. Everything we do is shaped around this… from the pickup/drop-off locations at 3 of the main dormitory locations covering the entire campus, to the complimentary water and munchies … did we mention the movies we show are college themed?? As students, we understand your individual needs! So if you have specific requests, voice them, and we will see if we can cater to you. We look to set the new bar in college travel.
Where are the pickup/drop-off locations at UD?
There are three pickup/drop-off locations at the Udel. Click to see maps of where each location is on campus:
  • East Campus – Picking up and dropping off students behind Russell Dormitories, this pickup location provides easy access for students who live in any of the east campus dorms (Russell, Harrington, Gilbert, Lane, Thomson, & others) as well as south central campus dorms (Essex, Squire, and several others).
  • West Campus– Picking up and dropping off students in the parking lot between Dickinson and Rodney, this is the ideal location for students located in those dormitories.
  • North Campus – Picking up/dropping off at the bus stop location across from Thomas McKean Hall, this is the ideal location for students living in James Smith, Thomas McKean, Pencader, and George Read.
Where are the pickup/dropoff locations in NYC?
There are two pickup/dropoff locations in New York City. Look at the following links for google maps of the two locations:
I have a class that conflicts with the current schedule - what do I do?
Speak to you're professors! The majority are lenient with issues like traveling home around breaks. That is the first thing. Also be aware of the school policy on excused absences, by clicking this link.
I’m going to NYC for a weekend trip - any advice on hotels, accommodations, places to go/see or do?
Absolutely. There are too many choices and just too much to tell you about New York. Call or email us to get specific information on some of the cheapest places to stay and eat for your New York Experience.
I have not heard of your service before – please fill me in on some of the details...
Well to get the full wrap, please check out the ‘how it works’ tab. But here's a quick overview: We are a Limited Liability Company (LLC) registered with the State of Delaware. We're insured and experienced taking students up to New York. We have operated for several years and completed numerous trips. The combination of our experience both as students and trip coordinators has made us the best travel option for students who live in New York, North New Jersey, Connecticut, and for those looking to travel to New York City.
Is the service only for students?
Absolutely not! Our customers overwhelmingly consist of students, but it is open to all potential travelers.
How much luggage am I allowed to bring?
Our rules on luggage are simple – as long as you can carry your stuff to the bus by yourself, we should have room for it. Please don’t abuse this policy, for your own well-being - when we drop you off in the city, you sure will struggle moving your stuff to your final destination if you had friends help you bring your personal items to the bus. Keep this in mind when packing!
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, here is our refund policy:
  • Full refunds are offered for cancellations made two weeks prior to the travel date, in the form of payment they were received.
  • Credit for future trips is given up until 4 days before the trip date.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot give any form of refund within 4 days.
I never received my ticket after ordering...
Your ticket for the service is simply a copy of your PayPal receipt. Bring a copy the day of the trip. If you no longer have a copy of your paypal receipt, or never received email verification from them, please let us know and we will determine the problem.
